Was the prosecution of an Irishman calling a Welsh woman an English ***** a waste of police time and money?

As a Welshman myself I find it intensely embarring. This stupid woman should have been told to stick her complaint where the sun don't shine. And no, the majority of Welshman don't hate the English, it's just that the pathetic bigoted minority are far more vocal, same as anywhere else.
