How do you become a solicitor in the UK? What are the steps?

Just an LLB, becoming a solicitor is not like becoming a barrister. You could also become a solicitor with relevant work experience if you have connections at a law firm and someone could mentor you, however people won't take you seriously without at least an LLB.
