Is it possible to dye my dress?

I have a dark navy blue dress, 58% cotton 38% polyester 4% spandex, with an 100% polyester lining (not too concerned about the lining), that I'd like to dye black. Planning on using RIT dye (or a better suggestion if someone has one). Will this blend of materials take to the dye? Thanks in advance!
