I have a old diamond engagement ring of my mothers its about 80 years old. Inside it has 10ct Plat but no hall?

All it tells you is that it is platinum, hallmarking for platinum wasn't needed before 1975 and it is extremely difficult to discover the purity of the platinum without testing it. Without a mark showing its' purity, it isn't worth much.
