Autism Reform Act of 2009?

I think its far from perfect but a definite step in the right direction. I like that insurance companies will have to start paying for all resources for these children. My health insurance is really expensive and its very aggravating to not be able to do something, such as speech therapy, for my son because they feel it is not necessary. I am hoping that they also come up with some plan to offset the costs of specialist appointments. My insurance is great and I only have a 20 dollar copay for specialist but when your child is seeing 3 or 4 in a week plus prescriptions, it can add up really quick! We have to start somewhere and I think this is a good start.
